The Sun!
The sun came out today for the first time in probably 2 weeks here. And Bear likes it:
He is not ashamed to wear my nice green wrap or my wonderful Noro Scarf:
I didn’t finish as many projects last week as I wanted to, but I started some gloves anyway. I really should have taken a picture of them with 5 fingers. I was feeling so good about actually finishing one this weekend, but then I held them up and thought they looked a bit freaky. Here they are with a more normal looking almost 4 fingers. I am not sure I like the pattern. The designer used a method of making the base of fingers that seems annoying to me. I tried it on 2 fingers and then went to the tried and true method I learned from the Knitters Handy Book of Patterns. Anyway, here are the glove/mitts:
It is so nice to have warm weather to send the kids out to play. There has been a lot of cabin fever like behavior around here lately.
Last night I had this horrid dream that I forgot to plant the garden. Pretty soon it will be time for me to break out the pots, seeds, and grow lights. For now, I need to decide what seeds to order, what baby birds to buy, and anticipate baby goats.
