Some Christmas Goodies

I can't believe I haven't posted in like 2 weeks. That's terrible. I have finished projects. Been gifted. Yes, gifted. Secret Pal strikes again. I even gifted my person, but it was just a gift certificate. Nothing to show you. Anyway, my secret pal sent me some fun. Yarn, washcloths, tea, and a felted basket. She also included the pattern she used to make the washcloths. The yarn is Crystal Palace cotton chenille. So soft. No kitchen cloths there. No way. They are mine. I might share with the girls. Maybe. The ones my pal made are knit out of the same kind of yarn that she sent me. I can't decide where I am going to use my basket. I love it, though.

And I finished the pillow in time to be sent off to Seattle for Christmas. I will never, ever make up ruffles as I go again. In the future, I will do the ruffles the way the pattern states. I hate ruffles. The middle ruffle was the first mistake, and a huge one. It actually broke the end of one of my knitting needles. I had to use a needle 3 or 4 sizes smaller to get it bound off. The end result is pretty, but I wouldn't make that project again. Unless I just followed the instructions. There's always that.

Blogger won't let me post the pictures right now, so I may have to come back later to post them.

Sounds like your Secret Pal gave you nice gifts. I just finished some serious sock knitting. Maybe it's time for some washclothes.
