An Amendment

It seems I will have to back off of my nothing but socks pledge for Socktoberfest. I really have to get some other projects done. I am amending it to nothing but sock knitting after 10 am. This will encourage me to knit before 10 am.

Today we have the beginnings of 2 new projects. One is the window covering project I have mentioned before. That is the dark one at the top. The lower one is a sweater for knitter #2. It is Boo from Knitty. I am just creating the striping pattern for our version so I can use up stash yarn. In fact, these are both stash projects. I found a snowman sweater online a few months ago that I have planned on using stash yarn for, but now I am actually not sure I have enough for the project. Knitter #2 loves snowmen. I may just have to buy some yarn for it. Oh, and I have found ANOTHER sweater that I want to make for me.

I can't wait to see how many socks I can make for Socktoberfest!
