A Finished Hat

I found that I rather enjoyed doing the attached I-cord. It was way better than knitting yards of the stuff. My biggest difficulty was in deciding whether or not to do color work on the earflaps. I’m glad I decided against it. The hat is finished just in time because it was -3 F this morning. I just had to open my big mouth a few days ago. Too bad I don’t have some finished mittens to wear…
