My Sewing Weekend?

I thought that I was going to make this weekend a sewing weekend. I got a little bit done. Better than no sewing at all. I would like to finish up some ongoing sewing projects and concentrate on a quilt that I cut the strips for last summer. There are at least 5 projects at various stages. Plus some repair projects.

Since I didn’t do any sewing, I planned for sewing. I looked through my patterns and decided what to sew for the kids for spring. It’s just like planning a year’s worth of knitting instead of actually knitting. And JoAnn’s has patterns on sale this week. I’ll have to take a look at their spring fabric, too.

I’ve started decreasing for the tip of my mitten. I had to pull out half of my first row because I forgot to carry the black with me for the 2 stitches per row. I’ve been knitting away on my Crinkle, too. With the poor light we’ve had lately, I haven’t had the opportunity for any good pictures. It remains pictureless on Ravelry. The pattern is easy to follow and I think it will be a great sweater this spring.

I haven't even unpacked my fabric since I moved this summer. I had so much fun quilting last year, but haven't had opportunity this year. I love planning projects, almost more fun than actually working on them. Those FO are pretty fun, too. I am really looking forward to seeing your mittens - the colors so far are exciting.
