Cute Little Pockets
It has been so rainy this week that I haven’t had many decent picture taking opportunities. And me with a really cute little pocket to take a picture of:
There will be some embroidery added to it before I sew it on the front of the sweater. I could knit cute little pockets like that all day long.
Today is the first full day of summer vacation at our house. There were 15 crying jags and one black eye before lunch. A great omen for the next 3 months. The black eye was the result of a couple heads crashing together. I didn’t actually see it, so I can only imagine what they were doing. They were laughing up to the point that their heads met. Anyway, today is the first full day of my summer weight loss plan. I want to lose 25 pounds by Sept. 1. I am not sure if it is truly possible, but I am going to try. Right now I weigh 144 lbs. By the end of the summer I would like to be 120 lbs. My plan is to do 5 cardio workouts a week and yoga every day. And not eat all those naughty things I love. Many years ago when I had horrible eating habits and hadn’t even had kids yet, I managed to lose 35 pounds to go from 155 lbs to 120 lbs. I know I can do this again. I actually have way better eating habits than I did when I lost 35 pounds. Now I need to go work on my new inspiration board to keep myself motivated…
